Who would have believed it? If I’d told you in the middle of March, by Easter the streets will be deserted, businesses will be shut down, restaurants, shops and offices will be closed, construction sites will be deserted, flights will be grounded; if I’d told you we'll be confined to our homes having our groceries delivered to our doors, we won’t be allowed to come within 2 meters of one another; if I’d told you, by Easter the hospitals will be full and people will be dying, alone, with no loved ones to hold their hands or whisper words of comfort, would you have believed it? Yet here we are.
We're coping after a fashion but alot of people are anxious, even fearful, and a lot of people are asking a lot of big questions.
What do God's people, the church, have to say about all that's going on? Are there any answers for those big quesions? That's the question addressed in these sermons.
