The moment you were born again you acquired brothers and sisters.
Now you are part of the family and that means you have family
“I have done a lot of counselling over the years and
most of it would not have been needed if Christians did what
Christians are meant to do for each other.
I have never yet seen a
church where the things we are going to learn about over the coming
weeks are faithfully done. In some cases people are just not
interested in taking up their responsibilities — they are content to
use the church rather than belonging to it — but mostly people think
they are doing what they should but they are doing the wrong things.
And you know what happens? We all think, "I really care about other
people in the church, but nobody cares about me.”
In His Word God spells out in detail the responsibilities He has
given us toward one another. In this series of sermons Dr Stephen
McAuley looks at the passages where He does and asks, what are our
responsibilities to one another in the local church and how can they
be put into practice?
